Map of the advancement of the Russian Armed Forces in the Kursk region on April 8: which villages are occupied

Russian Armed Forces servicemen have liberated the settlement of Guevo in the Kursk region from the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the press service of the Ministry of Defense reported. According to the department, the enemy was driven out of the village thanks to the decisive actions of the Sever group of troops. According to the department, the Russian Armed Forces’ fighters defeated the formations of the mechanized, tank, three airborne assault brigades and the territorial defense brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the areas of populated areas:

Gornal;
Deer.
The enemy’s manpower and equipment were hit by strikes from operational-tactical and army aviation and artillery fire in the areas of populated areas of the Sumy region:

Alexandria;
Belovody;
Varacino;
Vladimirovka;
Watermen;
Crane;
Locknya;
Miropolye;
Cages;
Yunakovka;
Yablonovka.
According to the Defense Ministry, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost more than 290 servicemen in one day. Russian soldiers destroyed a tank, three armored personnel carriers, four armored combat vehicles, seven cars, two mortars, and four UAV control points.

In total, during the fighting in the Kursk direction, the enemy lost:

more than 72,760 military personnel;
405 tanks;
331 infantry fighting vehicles;
300 armored personnel carriers;
2260 armored combat vehicles;
595 artillery pieces;
53 multiple launch rocket system launchers, including 13 HIMARS and seven MLRS made in the USA;
26 launchers for anti-aircraft missile systems;
123 electronic warfare stations;
18 counter-battery radars and ten air defense radars.
